Last Train, First Train

issue 1 of Kamihikouki Magazine | released: March 2014

Welcome to Kamihikouki’s inaugural zine. Our intent is to create a space for artistic minds in the Hyogo and greater Kansai area to gather. Thus, Kamihikouki, which means "paper airplane" in Japanese, aims to be a vehicle for creative works to take off in both print and in person. The Last Train, First Train issue has been not only a group, but community effort. Friends, contributors, sponsors, the morbidly curious… you have all been incredibly supportive and essential in the making of this collaborative work. The titular theme has sparked a number of very imaginative pieces which we’re proud to showcase here. So take your time, please enjoy, and try your hand at making a kamihikouki.
